HONOR seems to be working on a new smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery, and this one will get Qualcomm’s upcoming high-end chip as well. The phone in question is the HONOR Win 2.
The HONOR Win 2 seems to be coming with a gigantic battery & high-end chip
The information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is said to fuel the phone. We still don’t know if it’s the vanilla or ‘Pro’ variant of that processor, though.
This phone, in addition to having a 10,000mAh battery, is also said to support wireless charging. A flat display with a 2K resolution and “ultra-high” refresh rate is also expected. The same goes for an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
The HONOR Win 2 will also feature a telephoto camera on the back and high-level water resistance. It will have very capable stereo speakers, a large vibration motor, and a cooling fan as well.
The tipster also mentioned an 8-inch tablet from HONOR
In addition to talking about this phone, Digital Chat Station also had something to say about the company’s upcoming tablet. HONOR is allegedly working on an 8-inch tablet with an OLED display. That tablet could be called the HONOR Win Pad Mini, and launch alongside the HONOR Win 2.
That 8-inch display will offer an ultra-high refresh rate and very thin bezels. It will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, if the information provided is accurate. Do note that it could be a newer chip in the ‘8 Elite’ series, though, as it’s not specific that this is the version from 2024.
It remains to be seen if either of these two devices will make their way to global markets. We somehow doubt that HONOR will offer the Win 2, so the same could apply to the upcoming tablet. We’re only guessing, though, it remains to be seen.
