The HONOR Magic V6 finally goes on sale! HONOR has just announced that the Magic V6 is now available in both Malaysia and Singapore, which marks the beginning of the global rollout of the device.
The HONOR Magic V6 is finally going on sale, after 3-months of silence
HONOR did note that the phone will be launching across Europe, the Middle East, and additional markets throughout June. We do know that the Malaysian price is RM 7,699, which translates to $1,926.
Needless to say, the HONOR Magic V6 is a pricey device. Price tags will vary in other markets, of course, and there are some pre-order goodies available. That may also differ from one market to the next.
It is worth noting that the special bundle includes a 2-year Worry-Free Quality Assurance plan and a 1-year Worry-Free Crack Protection. Pre-orders in Malaysia are active between June 4 and June 11.
Now, at the beginning of the article, I said that the phone is “finally” going on sale. Why? Well, the HONOR Magic V6 was announced back in March, on March 1, to be exact. That means that we had to wait for three full months for the rollout to start, and it’s not even starting in all markets at this point.
It has extremely powerful specs, and a high price tag
The HONOR Magic V6 is the company’s latest flagship foldable. It has 7.95-inch and 6.52-inch LTPO AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip fuels the device, Qualcomm’s most powerful chip.
HONOR managed to stuff a 6,600mAh battery inside of this phone, while the device supports 80W wired and 66W wireless charging. The phone has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a compelling triple camera on the back.
Android 16 comes pre-installed, along with MagicOS 10. HONOR also promised 7 major Android OS updates for this device, which is a big deal.
