Hitman: Absolution is available on Android and iOS devices and if you’ve found yourself looking for more to do within the game, then you might want to check out what the new Contracts mode is bringing to the table. Contracts Mode is being added to the game in an update, and it’s live as of May 15.
The rundown on this mode is pretty simple. You essentially create your own assassination contract, and then you go complete it. Creating a contract consists of going to a story mode location in the game and then selecting up to three targets from the NPCs within that location and marking them as targets. Your goal from that point on is to eliminate them however you can.
Of course, that’s part of the beauty of the Hitman games. As an elite paid assassin, you use whatever you have at your disposal to complete the hit. Once your contract is completed, other players online can try and beat your score by doing the same contract. It seems like a neat way to add replay value for single player content. But you can try and beat others on a leaderboard.
The Contracts Mode is coming to the Nintendo Switch version of Hitman: Absolution
The new mode is live for Android and iOS gamers as of May 14, but it’s also coming to the Nintendo Switch version of the game. You can play this on the Switch 2 as well. If this is the version you own, Feral Interactive hasn’t forgotten about you. The studio confirms that it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future. It doesn’t say when, exactly, just that it will follow the mobile launch soon.
Although Contracts Mode is mainly centered around players creating their own assignments, it will also have featured contracts. These will be a collection of contracts that are “highlighted for their ingenious approach,” the developer says. They can also be contracts that were either created by the players or Feral Interactive. Additionally, they’re updated on a regular basis, so it’s worth keeping an eye on them to see what’s new. You can grab Hitman: Absolution on the Google Play Store, or the App Store for $14.99.
