The GTA 6 release times have reportedly been discovered, so players on each of the two console platforms the game will be available on will know exactly when they will be able to boot the game up for the first time come this Fall. GTA 6 will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, and is rumored to have a PC release in the future but so far there has been no confirmation on when.
With the release times now out in the open, players will have a better idea of when they’ll be able to pre-load the game in addition to playing it. Times will vary by each region with some regions getting the capability to play sooner than others.
GTA 6 release times begin in New Zealand on November 18
According to the report about the times, it looks like players in New Zealand will get to boot up the game first. The game will go live in that region at 12AM NZDT. This will be followed by several other regions every one to three hours, with the US and Canada being one of the last regions to have the game go live.
Players in the US will reportedly get to start playing at 12AM EST on November 19, which means people on the West coast can play at 9PM PST on November 18. This is a pretty standard launch time rollout for games. For example, Onimusha: Way of the Sword launched at 9PM PST on September 3 for West coast players, because the official launch time was 12AM EST for the US.
GTA is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and up until this morning it was really the only big game title in November. However, Nintendo just held its special Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct showcase, where it showed off more footage of the Ocarina of Time remake, and confirmed a launch date of November 5.
