The Google Wallet’s latest upgrade has now fully rolled out to all US users. What feature is that? Well, the ability to view and track your online orders in Google Wallet. We first talked about this feature’s arrival about a month ago.
Google Wallet’s major new feature reaches all US users
Not only did this feature roll out to all US users, but it’s only available in the US as of now. We’re not sure when it will start rolling out in other regions, or if it will at all, but it’s expected to. As per usual, some features in Google apps arrive to the US sooner than in other regions. For some, it takes quite some time for the expansion to take place.
When this feature is enabled, Google Wallet can pull order information from your Gmail. That allows you to view your online orders in Google Wallet for supported merchants. That can include detailed receipts, tracking numbers, and shipping status.
When it comes to viewing orders, in the Google Wallet app, you can see this by tapping ‘View more’. Orders arriving today or in transit will be shown at the top. Tap ‘View more transactions’, where you may be asked to verify it’s you. Then you can filter your online orders by tapping ‘Orders’ and choosing your preference.
On the Google Wallet website, the process is a bit different. On the left, you can click ‘Transaction’, and the site may ask you to verify your identity. Once you do that, click ‘Orders’ to filter your online orders. Find and click your order.

Tracking packages and removing an order have slightly different steps included. Google did explain the exact steps for all three new features, in case you’re interested. This is one of the most notable updates to the Google Wallet in quite some time.
