It looks like the Google Pixel 11 is getting a €100 price increase across the entire lineup this year. But there’s still good news.
Google is also ditching the 128GB model across the entire lineup. So the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold will all start at 256GB, going up to 1TB except for the base model, which will only offer 256GB and 512GB.
It’s worth noting that the pricing below is for Europe and the UK, so these prices aren’t going to be exact matches for the US. But if the price increases are similar, we can expect to see $100 price increases across all models Stateside.
| Device/Storage | 256GB | 512GB | 1TB |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Pixel 11 | €€999/£879 | €1,129/£999 | N/A |
| Google Pixel 11 Pro | €1,199/£1,079 | €1,329/£1,199 | €1,589/£1,429 |
| Google Pixel 11 Pro XL | €1,399/£1,279 | €1,529/£1,399 | €1,789/£1,629 |
| Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold | €1,999/£1,799 | €2,129/£1,919 | €2,389/£2,149 |
Those are some steep prices, especially considering we know how behind Google’s Tensor processors typically are.
The Android Headlines Take
Surprisingly, leaks about the new Google Pixel 11 series have been pretty scarce this year; we really have only seen some leaks about pricing and color names, and that’s about it. Which leads us to believe that there won’t be a lot of changes this year, and that’s not a surprise. Considering the rising cost of DRAM and flash NAND storage, Google and other OEMs really can’t afford to spend a ton on R&D for new features and changes, which then gets passed onto the consumer.
Right now, it’s rumored that Google will hold its Made by Google event the week of August 10. So we’ve got a little over a month before things are made official.
