The alleged Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra design surfaced yesterday, and now more info is coming out. Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, revealed that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will have almost exactly the same dimensions as the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra will be almost identical in size to its predecessor
The tipster released more design renders of the device, which are also based on CAD renders, it seems. You can see those images below. He noted that the S Pen will remain on the left side, while the speaker will also stick to the left side of the phone’s bottom.
The redesigned camera island will be, by far, the biggest change compared to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Other than that, the two smartphones will be basically the same. That goes for the design, port placement, and size.
Well, another big addition in the Galaxy S27 Ultra will be… magnets. That’s not something you’ll see, but they’ll be there, based on all the information that we’ve seen thus far.
There will be one notable design change compared to the Galaxy S26 Ultra
Still, that camera island is a big redesign. The initial reactions online have not been good, but that redesign has benefits compared to what came before. It will prevent the phone from wobbling, not to mention it will cater better to MagSafe accessories.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra camera design does, arguably, look better, but when it comes to practical use, the Galaxy S27 Ultra does look promising. The main reason why people complained as much is because the camera plateau looks much like the ‘Pro’ iPhones.
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will be arriving in the first quarter of next year. It will launch alongside the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Pro. Yes, Samsung is bringing us four Galaxy S smartphones this time around.
The Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ will allegedly stick to the existing design. The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will change things up, though.
