The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and Galaxy Z Flip 8 leaks have been surfacing for quite some time now. We were actually the first to reveal designs of both Galaxy Z Fold 8 models a while back.
Having said that, some new info just surfaced. A new report reveals the names of all color options for all three of these smartphones. The info comes from Digital Citizen, as the source also shared storage variants for the three phones.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 series & Flip 8 color options just leaked, along with storage variants
Let’s see what’s coming, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 8. Just for clarification purposes, that’s the wide foldable from Samsung, based on reports. That phone is coming in Cream. Graphite, Lavender, and Pistachio colorways. All four of them will be available in all three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 512GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is coming in Create, Graphite, Green, and Violet Shadow colors. All three of those colorways will be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
And last, but not least, the Galaxy Z Flip 8. The company’s upcoming flip foldable will be available in Cream, Graphite, Mint, and Pink colors. All color options will be available in 256GB and 512GB of storage.
As you can see, not a single model will be available with 128GB of storage, and that’s a good thing. Not like we expected Samsung to bring back 128GB of storage, but you never know with component prices these days.
The phones are expected to arrive in July, and I’m quite excited about the prospect of wide foldables
All three of these smartphones are expected to arrive in July, so next month. July 22 is rumored as the launch date, but nothing has been confirmed by Samsung just yet. We’ll have to wait and see.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 will be the company’s first foray into wide foldable waters. That phone is tipped to have a 4:3 display aspect ratio when unfolded, and it will compete directly with Apple’s first foldable. I, personally, cannot wait for wide foldables to start dropping, as I do believe that’s the right form factor for a book-style foldable. Why? Well, when it’s folded, it’s compact and easy to use with one hand. When unfolded, it’s outstanding for running apps side-by-side and watching movies, TV shows, and YouTube. If you need it to go vertical, no problem, rotate it. I believe it’s a much better idea than the current near 1:1 aspect ratios of main displays.
