ASUS has just announced a new mini-PC, which is also the very first mini-PC fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. The name of the device is the ASUS Ascent QN10.
The ASUS Ascent QN10 is the world’s first mini-PC with the Snapdragon X2 Elite chip
This launch marks the Snapdragon X2 Elite’s expansion beyond Windows laptops. The ASUS Ascent QN10 was announced at Computex 2026. That’s where ASUS also announced its new Zenbooks and ExpertBooks.
This chip comes with a fast 80 TOPS NPU and can run advanced AI models locally. It can also run AI agents and orchestrators like OpenClaw, Hermes, Cursor, Claude Desktop, OpenAI Codex, and OpenCode.
It is 86% smaller than the standard 5L mini-PC
The chassis of ASUS Ascent QN10 measures under 0.7L, and it’s 86% smaller than the standard 5L mini-PC desktop form factor. The Snapdragon X2 Elite allowed ASUS to truly minimize this mini-PC.
Qualcomm says that the Snapdragon X2 Elite is “designed to meet the needs of today’s demanding desktop users.” The ASUS Ascent QN10 is made for prosumers, developers, small businesses and enterprises, and industrial applications.
The company says that the ASUS Ascent QN10 “delivers power‑efficient performance that enables content creation, multitasking and creative workflows.” It is also powerful enough for gaming and entertainment, it is said.
It has seven USB ports, but that’s not all
The ASUS Ascent QN10 comes with seven USB ports. It includes three USB 4 ports, three USB 3.2 (Gen2) ports, and one USB 2.0 port. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and 2.5 GbE connectivity. There’s a headphone jack included, and an HDMI 2.1 FRL port as well.
The device measures 130 x 130 x 40mm and weighs 720 grams, in case you were wondering. We still don’t have a price tag for the ASUS Ascent QN10, though.
