Apple announced Siri AI as part of iOS 27 earlier this month at the annual WWDC 2026 conference, but it won’t be compatible with all Apple devices. That should come as no surprise, as some devices will be tool old and won’t support iOS 27. Therefore they wouldn’t be able to support Siri AI. This means that some Apple users will need to update to a newer phone, tablet, or watch if they want access to it. Whether or not that’s worth it is another story.
That being said, if you’re like us and you want to know whether or not you need to update, there’s now a full list of compatible Apple devices that Siri AI will be coming to. Interestingly enough, the list of devices that will end up with it larger than you might think.
Here are all the devices that will be compatible with Siri AI when it launches
There’s good news and bad news with the launch of iOS 27 and Siri AI. The bad news first. Not all of Apple’s device will be able to use it. It might be disappointing, but it’s the nature of things as technology advances and the hardware along with it, opening up capabilities that weren’t previously possible. The good news, is that Apple’s list of compatible devices for Siri AI is quite large.
For example, the M1 chip powers at least 5-6 different Macs, and these are compatible. Every mac with a chip later than the M1 is also going to be able to use Siri AI. The MacBook Neo is compatible as well and it’s powered by the A18 Pro chip. Apple also says that every iPhone from the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max and up will be compatible, as they will all get iOS 27. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will not be compatible.
For tablets, the iPad Mini with the A17 Pro and every iPad with an M1 chip or later will get the feature. For Apple Watch models, Apple’s website officially says the Apple Watch Series 9 and later, and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later, as well as the Apple Watch SE 3, would get Siri AI. Lastly, the Apple Vision Pro headset will get it as well. As you can see, that’s a lot of different devices. So, chances are most current Apple users will get it in some way or another.
