Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max Specs

The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max was announced today, as it arrived alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo handsets. The latter is the company’s first foldable. With that being said, we’re here to focus on the Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max specs.

This is the most powerful iPhone that Apple has announced thus far. Yes, the foldable iPhone is now here, but it doesn’t have as powerful a camera setup as this one, plus there are some other benefits here.

Before we get to specs, do note that Apple did list the specs on its official website, but as usual, the company did not share everything. The specs are quite limited, so… here we go.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max specs are headlined by the 2nm Apple A20 Pro chip

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is fueled by Apple’s first 2nm chip, the A20 Pro. Last year, the company used a 3nm Apple A19 Pro. We presume that the chip is backed by 12GB of RAM, but Apple did not confirm that. You can choose between four different storage options: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. The storage is not expandable, though.

Apple opted for a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display here. Its refresh rate goes up to 120Hz (adaptive), and the display supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10. The panel is flat, in case you were wondering. Apple also applies an anti-reflective coating on the display. We presume that the Ceramic Shield 2 protects the panel, but we’re not sure.

Apple once again announced both eSIM-only and nano SIM variants

Apple did not let us know what the battery capacity is in the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The company did quote massive improvements in battery life, though, with up to 45 hours of video playback on a single charge. The iPhone 18 Pro now has the same battery life as the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which pushes the iPhone 18 Pro Max into the stratosphere.

Speaking of battery, we’re not sure how fast wired charging is (we’re guessing 45-50W), but the phone supports 25W wireless MagSafe charging. Reverse wired charging is also on board here. The charger is not included in the box, though.

Three 48MP cameras are included on the back

Apple opted to include three 48-megapixel cameras on the back of this phone. The main camera includes an f/1.48-f/4.0 variable aperture. You can switch between those options manually as well. The 48-megapixel ultrawide camera offers a 120-degree FoV. There is also a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto camera here. On the front, you’ll find an 18-megapixel selfie camera with a square sensor. That is basically all the camera spec info that we have.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. Apple’s new iOS 27 comes pre-installed on the device, while Bluetooth 6.0 is also included. The phone supports Wi-Fi 7, and comes with stereo speakers. Advanced Face ID facial scanning is also on board.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max measures 163.4 x 78 x 8.75mm, and weighs 249 grams. The phone comes in Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy colors.
