The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max was announced today alongside two other iPhones, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo, the company’s first foldable. The phone is not yet available to pre-order, however.

Apple announced that you’ll be able to grab the iPhone 18 Pro Max on Saturday, September 12, so if you’re looking for that great deal, you’ll need to wait a bit longer. Apple will offer some notable deals, along with carriers, of course.
We still don’t know anything about what the carriers will offer; however, Apple did share some information regarding its offers. So, we can share those.
The Apple Upgrade program offers are also coming
You will be able to use the Apple Upgrade program to grab the iPhone 18 Pro Max. That is a device leasing program in the US that the company announced recently. It will allow you to lease the iPhone 18 Pro Max with monthly payments via Klarna.
Apple announced the Apple Upgrade option for the iPhone 18 Pro series for $34.99 per month for 24 months, or lower via trade-in. Speaking of which, the company also announced up to $1,200 off with a trade-in of an iPhone 14 or newer.
The phone will go on pre-order on September 18

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is fueled by the company’s new Apple A20 Pro, a 2nm chip. The phone also includes 12GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. You can choose between four storage options.
A powerful new triple camera setup is included on the back, with a variable aperture added to the main camera. The phone will also offer notably better battery life and ship with iOS 27 out of the box. A 6.9-inch 120Hz display is also on board, plus more.
