Roughly a year after launching its previous generation, Amazfit is expanding its wellness-focused wearable portfolio. The brand has officially introduced the Amazfit Balance 3 alongside an all-new, high-end sibling: the titanium Amazfit Balance Ultra. Both smartwatches lean heavily into physical design tweaks, ultra-bright displays, and intelligent software to help fitness enthusiasts bridge the gap between heavy training sessions and essential daily rest.
Bigger frames and much brighter screens
The first detail you will notice about the new Balance 3 series is its sheer physical presence. Amazfit has increased the scale of its baseline model to a 51.4mm case diameter. This makes it notably broader than its predecessor. This larger footprint accommodates a crisp 1.5-inch AMOLED screen guarded by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass. To ensure you can easily read your health metrics under direct summer sunlight, the brand boosted the peak brightness by 50%, reaching an impressive 3,000 nits.
The company also upgraded how you interact with your wearables. Instead of relying solely on the traditional rotating crown and right-side button setup, Amazfit has added two extra physical buttons on the left side of the Balance 3 case. The premium Balance Ultra takes this a step further, packing five buttons in total to offer granular physical controls during intense workouts.
Advanced tracking and marathon battery life
Under the hood, these wearables debut as the physical heart of Amazfit’s new Hybrid Training system, powered by an updated Zepp App. The software uses a specialized tracking algorithm that evaluates your physical output alongside your daily stress levels and sleep quality. For competitive athletes, the watches feature native support for HYROX fitness competitions. This provides built-in race simulations, structured training layouts, and virtual pacing tools right on your wrist.
You will also find dual-band GPS, offline maps, and turn-by-turn navigation data. Plus, the durable chassis boasts a 10 ATM water-resistance rating, meaning it can safely handle swimming or free diving up to 45 meters.
Where these devices really shine is in their longevity. The regular Balance 3 includes a 658mAh battery which offers up to 21 days of typical use. Meanwhile, the premium Balance Ultra leverages a larger 780mAh cell, pushing typical battery life up to a massive 30 days between charges.
Pricing and availability
Pre-orders are currently open for the stainless steel version of the Amazfit Balance 3 at $369.99 (£370). The wearable is expected to hit the United States market by mid-June 2026. A lighter, 55-gram titanium version will also debut in the near future for £450. If you want a titanium finish immediately, the top-tier Amazfit Balance Ultra is available now for £600 and helpfully includes two distinct straps directly in the retail box.
