Nothing is still a relatively new brand among smartphone makers and now it’s rumored to be on the cusp of a smartwatch launch. Nothing has put out several mobile or mobile-adjacent devices, including on-ear headphones and true wireless earbuds. By releasing a Nothing-branded smartwatch, it’ll allow the company to reach a new target market.
The smartwatch market isn’t starved for options as there are plenty of available devices from the likes of Samsung, Google, Amazfit, Garmin, and several other brands. With Nothing entering the space, however, consumers will get an option that is going to be more competitively priced. All of Nothing’s current products are set at more affordable price points. It’s smartwatch is rumored to follow this path and come to market at a reasonable price for consumers.
The Nothing smartwatch is rumored to launch for under $300
Nothing hasn’t confirmed that it’s launching a smartwatch yet but according to the rumor about its upcoming release, the launch date is quite close and there’s a target price point that interested customers will be able to look forward to. Yogesh Brar on X claims to know the launch window for the watch and says that it’ll be coming in September of this year. In addition to the launch date, it’s rumored that Nothing plans to release the watch for under $300.
That price would make it one of the more affordable options without being entirely budget-focused. The watch is also said to be coming to limited markets, with no mention of any market specifically at this time. However, Brar does mention that it will come with the familiar Nothing DNA for the design. It isn’t clear if that means transparent styling like all of Nothing’s other products. It’s also not mentioned what sort of operating system Nothing plans to use for the watch.
