Caviar is well-known for making luxury devices with 24k gold finishes. Well, two new phones have just been announced, limited-edition Messi and Ronaldo phones. Caviar decided to drop these two right before the 2026 World Cup wraps up.
Messi & Ronaldo luxury phones are here, and one is based on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra
This is the company’s new Legends collection. The customized Messi phone is based on the yet-unreleased Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, while the Ronaldo phone is based on the iPhone 17 Pro, which has been on the market for a while.
You’ll notice that each phone has a portrait of a football (soccer) player on the back. Messi is in its Argentina jersey on the back of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, while Ronaldo is in his Portugal jersey on the back of the iPhone 17 Pro.
It is noted that the artwork is created using the centuries-old cloisonné enamel technique. The outlines, jersey numbers, national symbols, and frame accents are finished with 24-karat gold plating.
Prices go up to $13,130, and only 19 of each will be made
The Messi-based Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra comes with 256GB of storage, and it’s priced at $13,130. The Ronaldo-based iPhone 17 Pro is priced at $11,410, and it also comes with 256GB of storage.
Caviar also noted that only 19 units of each phone will be made. That’s not as surprising considering Caviar’s past launches and the price tags here.
Caviar says that once you purchase one of these two devices, they’ll start working on preparing the device and ship it once it’s ready (within 1-4 business days after they’re ready, not after the payment clears). Needless to say, you won’t be able ot get the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra that soon, as the phone is not even official yet. It will launch on July 22.
