The Pixel 12 family of phones may still be close to a year away, but a recent leak of Google’s next series of devices has already surfaced, revealing the screen resolution of the upcoming phones and other details about them.
This isn’t the first Pixel 12 leak to appear, though there haven’t been many either. A leak from June 2025 revealed what were reportedly the Pixel 12 codenames. According to that leak, the codenames are Galago for the Pixel 12, Sasquatch for the Pixel 12 Pro, Silverback for the Pixel 12 Pro XL, and Capuchin for the Pixel 12 Pro Fold. Today’s leak doesn’t list any codenames to match to that previous leak, but it does list model numbers alongside the screen resolution for each of the four Pixel 12 series phones.
Pixel 12 screen resolution leak reveals a slight decrease
According to the leaked information, which comes from the GSMA IMEI database and discovered by OVR Plus, the Pixel 12 family of devices will all have lower screen resolution than the current Pixel 11 series phones, save for the Pixel 12 Pro Fold, which has a higher screen resolution than the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Notably, the screen resolution leaked for the Pixel 12 Pro Fold is the for the main folding display. The information from the GSMA IMEI database states that the Pixel 12 Pro Fold will have a resolution of 2,296 x 2,404. This is compared to the 2,076 x 2,152 resolution on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
All three other models will have the resolution drop slightly, however. For example, the Pixel 11 resolution is 1,080 x 2,414. The leak states that the resolution of the Pixel 12 will be 1,080 x 2,400. It’s not a huge drop, but a drop nonetheless. The Pixel 12 Pro meanwhile will be 1,280 x 2,824, and the Pixel 12 Pro XL will have a resolution of 1,344 x 2,952. For comparison, the Pixel 11 Pro screen resolution is 1,280 x 2,856, and the Pixel 11 Pro XL is 1,344 x 2,992.
As for the model numbers the leak claims the Pixel 12 is GC0QU, the Pixel 12 Pro is GWU59, the Pixel 12 Pro XL is G7U1Y, and the Pixel 12 Pro Fold is G4D5D.
