OnePlus is slowly revealing more details about its upcoming ultra-budget device. The device in question is the OnePlus N6, of course, and this time around the company shared more spec details.
OnePlus revealed more details about the N6, including its cameras
The company has now confirmed that the device will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with 60 fps video recording. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera will also be a part of the package.
That’s not all, though. OnePlus also confirmed that the device will include a 5,300mm² vapor chamber cooling, which is great to see, and was not exactly expected in this budget phone.
The OnePlus N6 is coming in Fresh Mint and Midnight Green colors. As reported earlier, the device is expected to cost under INR20,000 ($212), though it remains to be seen. These are only rumors thus far. Initially, a price under INR15,000 ($159) was mentioned.
The phone also surfaced on the Google Play Console
As a reminder, OnePlus earlier confirmed that the phone will include an 8,000mAh battery and support 45W wired charging. In addition to all that, and OnePlus’ aforementioned confirmations, the device also surfaced on the Google Play Console.
That listing confirms a display resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels, and the MediaTek MT635, which hints at a Dimensity 6000-series processor. 6GB of RAM is also mentioned in the listing, along with Android 16.
Its price tag will play a huge role in its appeal
The OnePlus N6 will finally become official on June 30. So we’re only a couple of days away from that point. Its success will be closely tied to its price tag, that much is obvious at this point.
OnePlus is trying to make a smartphone that will offer the best specs possible (and solid ones) at a very low price, which is a huge challenge in this day and age. The phone will debut in India, and it remains to be seen if it will launch anywhere else.
