Some more information just surfaced about Samsung’s upcoming high-end smartphones. We’re still half a year away from the Galaxy S27 series, at least, and yet some Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra info just appeared in Korea.
The Galaxy S27 Pro will feature a 6.4-inch display and a better camera than the Galaxy S27
According to Naver, the Galaxy S27 Pro will feature a 6.4-inch display. That means that Samsung will offer two more compact devices in its flagship series, the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Pro. It will do something similar to what Apple is doing.
The Galaxy S27 Pro is also said to offer a new main camera sensor, well, compared to the Galaxy S27. It will also include a larger battery than its sibling, and a thinner body, despite that it seems.
Earlier rumors also hinted that the Privacy Display feature from the Galaxy S26 Ultra could trickle down to the Galaxy S27 Pro. A chip from Qualcomm is expected to fuel this phone, at least for now.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is getting several notable upgrades
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra, on the other hand, is tipped to get three notable upgrades. It will get a changed design, with a new camera module. We’re not sure how much of a change that will be, though.
The camera will be improved, it is said. A 200-megapixel camera will still be its main camera, but with a newer sensor. Variable aperture is also mentioned, though we’re not sure how accurate that is. We’re also expecting to see an improved telephoto snapper.
It is said that Samsung will increase the battery capacity in the Galaxy S27 Ultra, finally. Despite that, the phone is expected to be lighter than the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy S27 series is not expected to launch before January, as it’s coming at some point in Q1 2027, at least based on Samsung’s past launches.
