Vivo has officially announced its very first smartphone with a 10,000mAh+ battery. To be more exact, the device has a 10,200mAh battery, and its name is the Vivo Y600 Pro.
This smartphone was announced in China, and it’s actually a member of Vivo’s entry-level smartphone series. Needless to say, the phone includes a silicon-carbon battery, which keeps its profile rather sleek.
The Vivo Y600 Pro has a 120Hz display, and ships with Android 16
The phone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and 120Hz refresh rate. High-frequency PWM dimming (4,320Hz) is also a part of the package, and the display is flat.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300e processor, a 6nm chip, fuels this phone. It comes with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.
Android 16 comes pre-installed, along with OriginOS 6 skin. There are two SIM card slots here (2x nano SIM), while the phone supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, on top of supporting 5G (SA/NSA).
It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster up top. The Vivo Y600 Pro is IP68 and IP69 certified, and thus offers great ingress protection.
The phone features a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture) on the back. That is the only camera on the back of the device. A 32-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.45 aperture) is also a part of the package, though.
In addition to a 10,200mAh battery, it also supports 80W charging
The Vivo Y600 Pro also comes with 80W wired charging support, so that you can charge up that huge battery fast. Stereo speakers are also a part of the package.
The device measures 163.9 x 76.5 x 8.15-8.25mm, and weighs 221/223 grams. It comes in Moonlight Black, Vast Blue, Starry Purple, and Floating Gold color variants.
The pricing for the Vivo Y600 Pro starts at CNY2,099 ($307) in China, and goes all the way up to CNY2,599 ($380) in China. This phone likely won’t launch in other markets.
