The Pixel Watch weather app, which is now just the Pixel Weather app for Wear OS, is gaining a new update that introduces some new complications to the watch faces. The update is currently rolling out to devices, and may take a little bit of time before it reaches every single user with a compatible watch model.
This update isn’t rolling out widely yet according to the report, but some users do have it. The report doesn’t mention anything about these new complications being exclusive to any one Pixel Watch model, such as the Pixel Watch 5. You can add new complications to the watch face from either the watch face itself, simply by long-pressing on the face you’re currently using, or by adding them through the Pixel Watch companion app and saving those changes so that they show up on the watch after the app syncs with it.
New Pixel Watch weather complications include three additional options
Right now the Pixel Weather app for the Pixel Watch smartwatches gives users three complications to choose from, and this includes the UV Index complication, as well as the Sunrise and Sunset complication and the Weather complication. The three new ones being added include Precipitation, Pollen, and Air Quality Index.
The version of the app that has these new complications, as pointed out by 9To5Google, is 1.0.0.94, so that’s what your looking for on the version number to see these new features. Google itself hasn’t announced these new features for the Pixel Weather app on the Pixel Watch smartwatches, and there’s no clarification on how long it might take before the update is available to all users in all regions. Google swapped to using the Pixel Weather app on the Pixel Watch back in the latter part of 2025, having come to the Pixel Watch 4 before other models.
