The Vivo X Fold 6 has surfaced on Weibo in real-life images. That’s not all, though, as Vivo itself shared some interesting information about the focus of its software for foldables. Let’s first check out the design of the phone itself, though.
The Vivo X Fold 6 just surfaced in real-life images
There are three images included in the gallery below, showing the alleged Vivo X Fold 6. As you’ll notice, it once again has a camera oreo on the back, which does protrude quite a bit.
Three cameras sit inside that camera island, and you’ll also notice the ‘ZEISS’ branding. The color that is shown here looks very eye-catching. In images, it looks like a cyan gradient color, with both lighter and darker parts.
Some spec information was shared alongside the images as well. A 200-megapixel main camera will allegedly be used, along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
Furthermore, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip allegedly fuels this phone. A 6,900mAh battery is also mentioned here, along with a side-facing fingerprint scanner, which will be built into the power/lock key.
You’ll notice that Vivo went with a standard form factor for book-style foldables. This is not a wide foldable, though Vivo is allegedly working on a wide foldable as well.
Vivo has high hopes for OriginOS 6 Fold
What else? Well, Vivo seems to believe that the next evolution of foldables isn’t just about unfolding to a bigger screen but about offering value in it. OriginOS 6 Fold will be focusing on AI-powered workflows, persistent AI assistants, and an upgraded Atomic Workbench that allows you to run multiple apps and AI tools in cohesion.
Vivo wants to make its upcoming foldables a true productivity machine. It remains to be seen if the company will be able to achieve that, though. The Vivo X Fold 6 is right around the corner, most probably, as the Vivo X Fold 5 launched in June last year.
