Vivo confirmed the launch date of the Vivo X Fold 6 yesterday, along with some more details, including camera samples. Now, we get to see all the color variants that the Vivo X Fold 6 will arrive in.
The Vivo X Fold 6 color options have been revealed
We knew that it’s coming in that gradient turquoise/blue color, as that’s the only color Vivo showed us thus far. Well, now the company has also shown us the other two colors, black and white, as you can see below.
The choice of these two colors is not surprising at all. The white color has a pattern on it, which makes it look like marble, essentially. The black color could include either glass or vegan leather on the back; the image itself is not sharp enough for us to be able to tell. It does seem to be glass, though.
What’s interesting is that each of these colors has a different frame color, as the frame color follows the general colorway of the device itself. The design itself did not change much compared to the Vivo X Fold 5, but this phone will deliver a number of improvements, mainly in the camera department.
This phone will have a very capable camera setup
It will be fueled by a special edition MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip made for foldables. A 200-megapixel main camera from Samsung is expected on the back, with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size and great OIS. A 50-megapixel 1/1.95-inch periscope telephoto camera will also be included on the back, as will a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. ZEISS will be a part of it, of course.
The phone will also support Vivo’s 200mm telephoto extender. The phone will include OriginOS 6 Fold software, which will be focused on providing the best experience for a foldable, with comprehensive multitasking options.
As a reminder, the Vivo X Fold 6 will launch on June 26 in China. Its global variant will follow at a later date. The expectations are high from this phone, as it’s expected to become one of the best foldable camera smartphones, if not the best one. I’m certainly hyped for it, mainly because the Vivo X300 Ultra is (one of) the best camera smartphones out there at the moment. Vivo has big shoes to fill.
