Ulefone has just announced a new smartwatch, the Armor Watch Ultra. This one follows the Armor Watch Pro, which Ulefone says had “strong sales performance.”
The Ulefone Armor Watch Ultra is a square watch, and it’s built like a tank
Needless to say, this is also a rugged watch, as it’s part of the ‘Armor’ series. This new watch is also a sports-oriented watch, and it does come with GPS support. It has a 1.93-inch AMOLED square display. That display has a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels, and it’s a 60Hz panel. It has a peak brightness of 600 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
It’s a good option for hikers, as in addition to GPS, it has AGPS support, which enables activity route recording. Offline maps are also on board, which only makes it a more viable option for such activity.
A torch is built into the watch
There is also a compass built in, and the same goes for a barometer and altimeter. Ulefone also included a ‘Super Torch’ in here, so that you always have a light with you.
Ulefone used a metal frame and a “protective structure” around its buttons and flashlight. It is IP68 and IP69K certified, and it also comes with a 5ATM rating. On top of all that, it is MIL-STD-810H certified.
There are over 160 sports modes at your disposal, plus Strava connectivity
The watch offers 160 sports modes and Strava connectivity. Heart rate tracking is here, and the same goes for blood oxygen, sleep, and stress tracking. Ulefone also includes heart rate variability tracking.
You can personalize the display on the watch with over 100 watch faces. When it’s paired with a compatible smartphone, the watch supports Bluetooth calling and notifications. WhatsApp replies are built-in for Android, while Ulefone is working on that feature for iOS.
Ulefone says you can get up to 8 days of typical use here
There is a 700mAh battery included, and the company claims you can get up to 8 days of typical use. The watch comes in Black and Orange variants, and you do get straps of both colors in the box.
The Ulefone Armor Watch Ultra is now available to purchase for $99.99. You can get it through the Ulefone Official Store.
