Picture the scene. It is 1970. Famed Italian styling company Italdesign pens a supercar, based on the mid-engined Porsche 914/6 powertrain, not that of the rear-engine 911. It is powered by a mid-mounted, 2.4-liter flat-six engine producing 220 hp, sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. The concept car was first shown at the 1970 Turin Motor Show, followed by the Los Angeles Auto Show in 1971.
