Today, we think of having four wheels as one of the most basic characteristics of a car. All cars have four wheels, right? The four-wheeled structure is the backbone not just of cars, but of SUVs and trucks too, thanks to its stability and practicality. Even the tiny BMW Isetta bubble car is a four-wheeler, even if it doesn’t look like one, with its rear wheels set close together. The only other form factor we’re used to is the two-wheeled variety of motorcycles.
