The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is one of the coolest, most capable midsize trucks for off-roading and overlanding. It comes with virtually every upgrade the factory can reasonably offer before making the pickup less practical for on-road use. That said, a TRD Pro is not the only option as an adventure rig. Someone can also buy a cheaper trim level of any truck and then build it to their taste with aftermarket parts.
