The design of the REDMAGIC 12 Pro Plus has been revealed ahead of the phone’s Chinese regional launch later this month. Teasers of the phone have popped up before the design reveal, with the company teasing the launch in China for October 15. No global launch for the phone has been revealed yet, but REDMAGIC’s phones always launch globally. For example, the REDMAGIC Astra 2 Android gaming tablet launched globally about two weeks after it launched in China. The company has had the same release schedule for other past devices as well.
REDMAGIC confirmed it would reveal the phone fully next week, but now that the design is out there, a full reveal will consist mainly of the phone’s official specs and the unique features that it brings to the table over past models. In REDMAGIC’s previous teasers, it showed off the general outline of the phone’s shape with the design covered by a translucent sheet that showed the silhouette of the phone and allowed the liquid cooling ring to shine through. A second teaser image confirmed slimmer bezels.
REDMAGIC has fully shown off the design of 12 Pro Plus, and it comes in three colors
Now that the full design is out there, it’s confirmed that the phone comes in three different colors, and there’s a much better look at the liquid cooling ring. There’s also similar liquid cooling sections to the right of the camera sensors.
As for the colors, the phone will officially come in Transparent Silver Wing, Transparent Dark Night, and Transparent Ice Blue. The images also reveal that the phone will only come with two camera sensors instead of three like on past devices. The REDMAGIC 12 Pro Plus is also confirmed to be using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset from Qualcomm, as you can see the chipset branding below one of the rear camera sensors.
