ASUS has finally offered up some more information on the features of the TUF Gaming 16 2026 model, one of its latest gaming laptops that was announced a little earlier this year. It officially announced the laptop during Computex 2026, where it also announced a range of other new laptops and tech. The TUF Gaming line has always been one of ASUS’s more affordable options in the gaming laptop space, so it’s always an exciting time when it reveals launch time frames and pricing, features, and all the specs. Gaming laptops and really most consumer electronics with memory in them these days are coming with highly inflated costs due to the memory crisis.
And with the TUF Gaming 16, there’s a small chance that consumers will have something that’s not only viable, but won’t torch their wallet. Of course, it’s worth noting that as of right now, ASUS hasn’t shared a specific launch date or what the price will be. It has however, shared all the specs and features through the laptop’s new landing page.
The ASUS TUF Gaming 16 2026 features include three different GPU models
With three different GPU models available in this upcoming laptop, there will almost certainly be one that will be reasonably priced for consumers. At least that’s the hope. Over on ASUS’s new landing page for the TUF Gaming 16 2026, the company confirms that the laptop will start with an RTX 5050 GPU inside. That base model will definitely be the cheapest of the three, though not necessarily cheap as a whole. Those wanting a little more power will be able to step it up to the RTX 5060 or the RTX 5070 GPU. Those will reportedly be the three different SKUs available when this laptop is available for purchase.
It’s also listed that the laptop has a 63Wh battery with 100W USB-C fast charging capabilities. So you won’t need the included power brick if you have a cable that supports those charging speeds, and an appropriate alternative power source.
