Motorola has officially announced the Edge 2026, specifically for the North American market. It’s essentially a small mid-range smartphone that shares a lot of specs from the base Razr 2025 that was announced last year.
With the Edge 2026, Motorola is including a 6.3-inch Extreme AMOLED display with Super HD resolution, maxing out at 5,200 nits. It also has the MediaTek Dimensity 7450 processor, which was used in the Razr 2024 and Razr 2025, so it is a bit older, unfortunately. But it is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
On the camera front, it also has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, which is also used for macro shots, and a 10MP 3X telephoto camera.
This is all powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which Motorola claims can get up to 50 hours of battery life. And it has outfitted the Edge with IP68/IP69 for water and dust protection.
It will be available in just one color this year: PANTONE Martini Olive, which is actually a really nice-looking color. It definitely looks like it has a nice texture on the back, making it easier to hold onto.
Motorola Edge 2026 will start at $599
As is the case with all electronics this year, the Motorola Edge 2026 is also going up in price. It’s priced at $599 in the US, with Motorola not providing pricing for Canada just yet. That’s a $50 price increase over last year. Which is not surprising at all, given the current RAMpocalypse.
The Motorola Edge 2026 will be available universally unlocked from Best Buy and Motorola.com on June 11. The device is coming to Verizon on June 11 as well, and subsequent availability at AT&T, Cricket Wireless, Spectrum Wireless, and Xfinity Mobile.
This is looking like a solid competitor to the OnePlus 15R and the Google Pixel 10a.
