The BMW of today is a strong, stable company. Over the past few decades, the Bavarian automaker has posted consistent sales, with more periods of growth than decline on record. Of course, there have been a few major bumps in the proverbial road when it comes to sales, such as a 38 percent drop in sales from 2007 to 2009 thanks to the Financial Crisis. Despite the setback, the marque managed to pull itself up by the bootstraps and get back to work, shrugging off the damage that was done rather quickly.
