Huawei is all set to unveil its flagship Pura 90 series on April 20th. Now, the Chinese tech giant has revealed the impressive photography capabilities of the top-of-the-line Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max device. The teaser video highlights a powerful 200MP telephoto camera alongside the flagship’s new AI-powered photography features.
Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max photography features revealed
To begin with, Huawei has confirmed that the Pura 90 Pro Max will be its first smartphone to flaunt a 200MP hi-res telephoto camera. The high-resolution telephoto will enable the phone to capture highly detailed images even from long distances, according to the brand. The firm has also shared a video that demonstrates impressive image clarity at up to 20x zoom.
Further, the telephoto is not going to be the only standout part of the phone. Huawei has also confirmed that it’s packing in a 50MP primary wide camera with a large one-inch sensor and variable aperture support. The smartphone will feature second-generation Red Maple Image technology to deliver natural and appealing images and videos.
Several AI features have been added to complement the camera
Alongside the impressive camera hardware, the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max is set to bring new AI-powered photography features. A notable addition is the new AI Photo Pose feature, which is designed to assist users in framing better shots. Using artificial intelligence and scenery recognition, the system will suggest different poses in real time. Several other AI features are on the way, too.
On the hardware front, the flagship is said to run on the Kirin 9030 Pro chipset and ship paired with up to 16GB RAM with 1TB of onboard storage. The Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max will boot up on the HarmonyOS 6.1 right out of the box. Last but not least, it will be available in Obsidian Black, Dawn Gold, Purple Sunset, Orange Ocean, and Emerald Lake color variants.
