The manual transmission has been on the outs for a while now. At present, less than 30 vehicles across all segments still offer a stick shift in the US market. Thankfully, Lotus is doing its part to keep the manual alive. The help comes in the form of the Emira V6, and it employs a mid-mounted V6 engine borrowed from Toyota paired with an old-school six-speed manual gearbox.
