You’ve seen the comments, maybe even commented yourself, pleading for manual gearboxes to remain relevant in the Golf GTI, BMW M3, or *insert enthusiast car that used to have a manual here*. Well, I’m here to tell you the manual will never die, and the extinction warning we’ve been spoonfed is misleading. The manual gearbox won’t go the way of the dodo.
