
- Provident Industrial closed on Commerce 45, a two-building industrial portfolio totaling approximately 1.5 million square feet located at 1100 and 1150 E Cleveland Street in Hutchins, Texas, in the South Dallas submarket. Commerce 45 will be held as a long-term investment.
- Scott Carter has joined Avison Young as Principal, where he will serve as the Healthcare and Life Sciences lead for Texas. Carter brings more than 20 years of experience dedicated exclusively to the healthcare and life sciences sectors, further strengthening the firm’s specialized advisory capabilities across the region. Prior to joining Avison Young, Carter served nearly a decade as Senior Vice President at CBRE, where he focused on acquisitions, dispositions, tenant and landlord representation for medical office buildings across Texas.
- Kathrine Gillis has joined Cushman Wakefield as Director of Brokerage for Dallas-Fort Worth. Gillis joins Cushman & Wakefield from CBRE, where she most recently led retail advisory for Texas, and, prior to that, served as Sales Management Director for North Texas. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama.
- Haven Housing, the multifamily and affordable housing platform of BH Properties, acquired Hays Park Apartments, a 309-unit garden-style multifamily community in Kyle, Texas.At the time of acquisition, the property was approximately 90% occupied. Haven Housing was represented by Walker and Dunlop’s Kevin Dufour, Matt Pohl, Spencer Roy, and Forrest Bass in the transaction.
