
- NewQuest has named 20-year veteran Matt Parsons as executive vice president and managing director of tenant representation. In the newly created role, Parsons will lead NewQuest’s tenant representation platform, bringing strategic vision and senior leadership to grow the division. Parsons most recently was executive vice president at JLL. His career includes stints at Phillips Edison & Co. in Ohio and CBRE in Houston.
- Kelly Agent, who has led property services across the Griffin Partners national portfolio since 2022, will be promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Lee Moreland, a Griffin principal since 2006 and a 38-year industry veteran, will assume the newly created role of Chief Portfolio Officer. Both will continue to report to Edward Griffin, CEO and Chief Investment Officer. Since its founding in 1980, the firm has acquired or developed 60 projects representing more than 18 million square feet and $2.7 billion in total capitalization.
- San Antonio-based Koontz Corporation announced the sale of Phase I of Westport Industrial Park, its Class A industrial development located at the intersection of South Callaghan Road and Texas Highway 151 in San Antonio’s growing Northwest submarket and industrial corridor. Nuveen Real Estate acquired the development. JLL brokered the transaction on behalf of the buyer and seller. Phase I was 79% leased before the sale.
- Accesso has selected Stream Partners to lead leasing for 10333 Richmond, a 218,746-square-foot, 11-story office property located in Houston’s Westchase submarket. Current availabilities range from approximately 1,400 square feet to more than 60,000 square feet, including full-floor opportunities on floors two and five through seven. Stream’s Brandon Levinson and Senior Associate Parker Noble will oversee the leasing efforts for the property on behalf of Accesso.
