T-Mobile is about to make that summer vacation even more expensive at least if you’re planning to travel internationally.
On June 25, T-Mobile will be doubling the cost of international calls. From $0.25/minute to $0.50/minute. Which makes this the perfect time to consider a local SIM card if you’re planning to stay for a long time. Or don’t make any calls from your phone while you’re overseas. As someone who travels internationally quite often, I have never had to make an international call from my phone. So this won’t be too hard.
There is a workaround, however
Those who do need to make international calls while on their Summer vacation in Paris or elsewhere can get around this by purchasing an International Pass.
These start at $10 per day, and so far aren’t slated to get price increases. Though this could change. These passes include 2GB of high-speed data as well. Or you can get a 10-day pass, which will cost you $35 and give you 5GB of high-speed data for the entire 10-days. There’s also a 30-day pass that will cost you $50 and give you 15GB of high-speed data. All three of these passes do included unlimited calling and texting.
With the rate at which everything is increasing right now, it’s making it harder and harder to travel. Especially if you’re planning to fly internationally, with the rate of these fuel prices soaring. If you live in the US, you might want to look at Canada or Mexico for vacation. Canada has some really great spots just across the border, like Niagara Falls.
Everything’s getting more expensive, and it’s unlikely that anything will get cheaper anytime soon. It’s not just memory getting bought up for AI either, but fuel prices rising, which is also having a trickle-down effect on everything.
