TL;DR
- Spotify users are reporting that they are unable to follow/unfollow other accounts.
- Users are also getting an error message when trying to block/unblock other users.
- Spotify says it is aware of the issue, but can’t provide a timeframe for when it will be addressed.

Spotify users are reporting that they are unable to follow and unfollow other accounts on the platform. As one user describes the situation, when they tap the follow button, the button state changes to “Following,” as it should. However, the follower count does not change and when the page is refreshed, the button reverts to “Follow.”
