Sony’s Popular WH-1000XM6 Headphones Now Come in Sandstone

Along with today’s announcement of The COLLEXION, Sony is also introducing yet another color of the WH-1000XM6. These were already available in black, midnight blue, sand pink, and platinum silver. Now, we can add Sandstone to the mix.

This is a pretty light brown or beige color, and it’s honestly one of the colors that Sony used to always release the 1000X headphones in. So it’s a bit surprising that they didn’t launch it until now, or the 1000XM6.

There’s nothing else new with these headphones, just a sixth color. Give users a good number of colors to choose from. You’ll be able to buy the WH-1000XM6 in Sandstone from Sony as well as Amazon starting today, for $459.99. In Canada, the price is still $599.

Over the years, the Sony 1000X series has gained popularity for being so good at sound quality, noise cancellation, and comfort. Of course, battery life is also up there. For many content creators like myself, the 1000X series is my go-to for travel. They do the best job at blocking out the sound around me on a plane, while also delivering some pretty good audio quality.

But, most importantly, the 1000X series is very comfortable. Making them great for wearing on a cross-country or even trans-Atlantic flight. Where you are wearing them for 7-10 hours or even more at a time. Battery life is also rated at 30 hours on a single charge, so it can handle those flights with ease.

Now, they have gone up in price over the past couple of years, but the WH-1000XM6 are some of the best because they brought back the ability to fold. Making them take up less space in your carry-on or backpack. Which was really the only complaint I had with them.
