After teasers, OnePlus has confirmed the launch of the Nord Buds 4 in India while also revealing some key specs and their complete design via an official listing on Amazon. The earbuds will debut in the country on June 25th and have a tagline, “Tunes that drop. Built to last.” The Nord Buds 4 will be available in two color options, green and black, and the design itself is seeing some changes.
OnePlus Nord Buds 4 launch date is now confirmed
The Nord Buds 4 will feature 12mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers, which can deliver deep bass and crisp highs, as per the company. They support up to 52db of real-time active noise cancellation (ANC). They also get six-microphone AI Clear Call to ensure improved call quality even in “25 km/h winds.”
The OnePlus Nord Buds 4 will apparently offer up to 54 hours of battery life with the charging case. That’s a notable jump from up to 43 hours of playback on the Buds 3. This claim is based on AAC mode with ANC off and volume set at 50%. This means the battery life may vary depending on use cases. There’s also TUV Rheinland Battery Health certification.
Spatial audio, up to 54 hours battery life, and more
The OnePlus Nord 4 will also support Spatial Audio, but it will only be available on select OnePlus and OPPO smartphones running OxygenOS 12 or ColorOS 12 and later. As for the design, the earbuds feature an in-ear style design, and they weigh 4.3 grams each.
The design is also seeing some changes. The stem of the Nord Buds 4 is slightly different from the predecessor, as is the charging case. Instead of the oval shape of the Nord Buds 3, the Nord Buds 4’s case is square-shaped with rounded corners. Either way, we’ll know the complete specs and the price when they debut on June 25th.
