Rumors and leaks regarding Samsung’s new foldables just keep on coming. We’ve shown you some official cases recently, and now prices for all three smartphones have surfaced. Just to be clear, that includes the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. On top of that, price tags for the company’s upcoming smartwatches have also been revealed.
Samsung’s new foldables will be more expensive, here’s how much
The information comes from WinFuture, and it’s for the European market; thus the prices are listed in Euro currency. If you were hoping for the same prices as last year, that’s not happening. Let’s start with the company’s flip foldable.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 will arrive in 256GB and 512GB of storage, and those two models will set you back €1,299 and €1,499. That represents a €100 increase for the base model and a €180 increase for the model with more storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is the newcomer in the series, despite its name. This is the company’s wide foldable, not the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s successor. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s successor.

With that being said, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will arrive in three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage. Those three models will cost €1,999, €2,199, and €2,599
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is coming in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage, just like the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The base model will cost €2,199, a €100 increase compared to the Fold 7. The 512GB model will set you back €2,399, which is €180 more than the Fold 7. And finally, the 1TB model will cost €2,799, which is a whopping €280 bump.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 is coming in two Bluetooth and two LTE models, 40mm and 44mm units. The 40mm Bluetooth version will cost €409 (€40 increase), while the 44mm Bluetooth version will set you back €439 (€30 increase).
The Galaxy Watch 9’s 40mm LTE version will cost €459 (€50 increase), while the 44mm LTE version will set you back €489 (€30 increase). And finally, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is coming in an LTE version only, and it will cost €749 (€50 increase).
The Android Headlines Take
Basically, everyone expected Samsung’s new foldables and smartwatches to be more expensive than their predecessors, so that’s not surprising. What may be surprising to some of you is how much the price is increased.
The component prices have been out of control, which is the main reason why this is happening. While the base models have not gone in price as much, you’ll really have to stretch your wallet for the higher storage variants. As a reminder, the devices are expected to arrive on July 22.
