A new ad for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 series is out. In this one, Samsung placed the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra right in the middle of an emotional father-daughter story.
This Galaxy Z Fold 8 ad will pull at your heartstrings
This ad was released as part of the UK promo campaign for the two smartphones. It tells an emotional story about an expectant father and his life’s journey with his daughter.
The ad shows us glimpses from the life of said father and his daughter, jumping decades ahead, so that we can see how she grew up and what happened along the way.
It’s a nicely put ad that will pull at your heartstrings, that’s for sure. At the very end, Samsung uses the “unfold life’s moments with the new Galaxy Z series” tagline, as you’d expect.
What’s nice about this ad is that the two smartphones appear only a couple of times in the ad’s 2-minute runtime, so you can actually get involved in the story without feeling like this is an ad through and through.
Samsung announced three foldables at the end of last month
As many of you know, these two smartphones were announced on July 22. Along with them, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and some watches. All those devices are now available for purchase, as the pre-order period ended.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 in particular turned out to be a huge success for the company. Samsung broke all kinds of sales records across the globe. It has been so popular that the company seemingly decided to release two wide foldables in 2027.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 combines a short and wide cover display with a wide main panel. It’s a new form factor (kind of) for foldables, one that Apple’s first foldable smartphone will also use.
