Rokid, the company that designs AR wearable devices, is making it easier for anyone to build apps for its AI glasses. That is, even if you don’t know how to code or even own the glasses. To that extent, Rokid has launched AIUI Studio globally at IFA Berlin 2026. This gives developers a browser-based platform to create and publish spatial AI apps.
Rokid’s AIUI Studio lets developers create AI spatial apps without coding
Most of the development process takes place via an AI-native workflow in AIUI Studio. Developers can say what they want to build in plain language, and the platform will build the app based on the idea. It doesn’t require the usual coding skills. Additionally, the platform also offers a simulation of Rokid’s smart glasses. This way, developers can work on their projects without even purchasing them.
That said, you might still need to use the actual glasses eventually, though. The company recommends testing agents in its Interactive Inview simulator first, then doing a final test on the real hardware. That seems fair, since you still need to see how everything works on the actual product.
AIUI Studio is now available worldwide
For developers who want more control, Rokid also offers AIUI Code assistance alongside its AIUI Skills Library. The company says these tools help creators get more from the glasses’ hardware while optimizing apps for less latency, less memory use, and less power consumption.
The move comes as Rokid’s developer ecosystem continues to grow. The company says it now has around 35,000 registered developers and more than 500 agents available through its Agent Store. AIUI Studio is now officially available worldwide. If Rokid can turn its growing developer base into a steady stream of useful agents, its glasses could become a platform that developers actively build for.
