Amazon has finally made it official: Prime Day will start on June 23 and last until June 26. The company had previously announced that Prime Day was going to be a four-day event in June this year, but they hadn’t announced specific dates yet.
Of course, in Amazon’s press release, the company touts millions of deals exclusive to Prime members, as it does every year. If you’re not a Prime member, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial (or six months if you’re a student).
Amazon Prime Free Trial
Sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime and save loads of money on Prime Day. This is a 30-day free trial, unless you’re a student then it’s 6 months.
This year, Amazon is tossing in a few more limited-time offers, like a sweepstakes to win free groceries for a year. Amazon will automatically enter any customer who spends $15 or more on a qualifying online grocery order into the sweepstakes. The company says that there will be $1 million in total prizes across 100 winners.
You can also set up a deal alert with Alexa and be entered for a chance to win a $100 Amaon gift card, with 100 winners being chosen.
And Amazon is bringing back its famous Little Caesars $5 pizza deal. Between June 15 and June 26, Prime members can score a $5 classic large pepperoni or cheese pizza, redeemable up to 5 times on different days.
Prime Day is perfect for early back-to-school shopping
The kids literally just got out of school, and some might still be in school. But with Prime Day being at the end of June, it makes it the perfect time to get started on some back-to-school gear. Whether that’s new clothes, a new laptop, tablet, backpack, or really anything else. These are the lowest prices you’ll see ahead of the school year starting in September.
Ahead of Prime Day, make sure to make a list of all the stuff you want and/or need to buy. That way, you’re not wasting your money on things you probably don’t need to buy.
