The upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Max has just surfaced online, courtesy of the Digital Citizen. The phone’s press materials have surfaced, sharing a ton of information about the phone.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max design and some details were revealed thanks to leaked press materials
If you take a look at the gallery below, you’ll be able to see a ton of images that the source shared. The phone is coming in three finishes: Glacier Blue, Onyx Black, and Sage Green.
You’ll notice that the device has a flat display, with a centered display camera hole up top. Its frame is flat all around, while the physical buttons sit on both the right and left sides. The standard set of buttons is on the right, while the AI button is on the left.
The camera island is located in the top-left corner of the phone’s back. There are four cutouts on the back, but only three seem to be reserved for cameras. That camera island does protrude on the back.
One of Qualcomm’s best chips will fuel the device
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip will fuel the device. The phone will offer an AMOLED panel, but we don’t know the details just yet. The phone is MIL-STD-810H certified for ruggedness.
You’ll notice that one of the images shows the phone on a wireless charging pad, which basically confirms wireless charging. We’re just not sure how fast it will be. Wired charging could be 68W, though.
Qira has been referenced as well. That’s Motorola’s new on-device AI assistant. We’re not sure what its role will be just yet; we’ll have to wait and see.
Several promo videos have been shared as well
There are still a lot of details missing here, as we did not exactly get an elaborate spec sheet, pricing, and so on. We do know what the phone will look like, while you get to see a ton of images showing it. The source also shared some promo videos, in case you’re interested.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max will become a rather powerful phone, based on the chip that the company will use. We do expect the rest of its specs to be quite powerful as well, and this will be a large phone, no doubt about that. The ‘Max’ part in the name could indicate a large battery as well.
