The OnePlus Watch 4 is getting closer to release and like clockwork with most devices that are about to launch, a leak has surfaced of the OnePlus Watch 4 that shows off the design and colors of the device. As always with leaks, nothing is truly official since it isn’t coming from OnePlus directly. The retail box does look pretty official, though, and thus it makes sense to view this as the official design and color options.
From past leaks, it’s already known that the OnePlus Watch 4 is likely to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, which is the same chip used in the last watch and other smartwatches from around the same time. It’s also said to come with Wear OS 5 instead of Wear OS 6, though, hopefully it’ll end up with an update sooner rather than later. Now, leaks have also revealed the design, strap options, colors, and at least some regions where the watch will be available. With regard to the regional availability, it looks like OnePlus plans to launch this in the UK, EU, and Poland. Other regions may get the watch as well.
Leaks for the OnePlus Watch 4 retail packaging reveal regional availability, colors, and more
When it comes to design, OnePlus doesn’t appear to be trying to reinvent the wheel. According to leaked images of the OnePlus Watch 4’s retail packaging, the watch will be available in two finishes, with two different color options for the straps. This is the same as what was offered on the OnePlus Watch 3. On top of that, the finishes and the colors are basically the same.
Though they may have some slight variation, buyers are still getting a lighter finish more in line with silver, and a darker finish that leans more toward black. These will be paired with green and black straps. Even the shape of the watch case is pretty much the same, with the same button placement and designs. There are some minor changes of course. The bezel of the watch now has these small dots that look sort of like rivets. On the OnePlus Watch 3, there were numbers lining the bezel every 10 minutes, with lines designating the 5-minute marker in between those numbers. Those are no longer there on the OnePlus Watch 4. It also looks like OnePlus has switched out the strap styles, though they both still appear to be a silicone material.
