Information about OnePlus’ upcoming ultra-budget phone keeps on coming. The company itself just confirmed one detail, while another was revealed by Geekbench.
The OnePlus N6 will support 45W charging, while its chip has also been revealed
The OnePlus N6, which is the phone’s name, will end up offering 45W SuperVOOC charging. OnePlus previously confirmed that an 8,000mAh battery will be included on the inside as well. There’s a good chance a charger will be included in the box as well, but we cannot confirm that.
OnePlus says that charging the phone for 5 minutes will enable 1.7 hours of video playback. The phone will also support reverse wired charging, though we’re not sure how fast it will be. The point is, this phone will double as a power bank.
What the company did not confirm is the SoC that will fuel the phone. Well, the device did pop up on Geekbench, so that detail has been confirmed unofficially. A phone surfaced with a model number CPH2955, which is believed to be the OnePlus N6.
That listing says that the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ or Dimensity 6300. MT6835 model number has been mentioned, which is associated with both of those processors. We cannot know which one it is, though there’s a good chance it’s the first one.
In any case, the phone managed to score 788 points in the single-core test and 1,993 in the multi-core test. There was also a second listing, which showed us similar numbers, as you can see below.

The OnePlus N6 is tipped to cost under INR 20,000, and maybe even close to or below INR 15,000. That’s the main story here. Knowing OnePlus, the company will include the best specs possible for the money, which could make this phone a very compelling offering at the price.
OnePlus’ previous devices from the OnePlus Nord CE lineup were actually quite good. This phone will undercut them in terms of price, so it will be interesting to see if it will offer as good an experience. We have high hopes, though. The OnePlus N6 will launch on June 30 in India.
