OnePlus will announce two very compelling budget phones next week, and now we know what specs they’ll offer. The devices in question are the OnePlus Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro. They will launch in China first, and we don’t know if they’ll reach any other markets under those names or perhaps be rebranded.
A couple of days ago, a report surfaced claiming that the OnePlus 6X Pro will include an 8,000mAh battery and cost an equivalent of $221 in China. That sounds appealing, right? Well, yes, and it’ll seem even more appealing when you see the phone’s other specs.
The OnePlus Turbo 6X budget phones will offer very compelling spec sheets
The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro is said to include a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display made by Samsung. That display will offer a 144Hz refresh rate, while the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SUPER will fuel the phone.
The aforementioned 8,000mAh battery will support 80W wired charging. This smartphone will also come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications. Thus, it will offer outstanding ingress protection.
Android 16 is expected out of the box, while the phone will also include an in-display fingerprint scanner (optical). It will be 8.8mm thick and weigh 213 grams. The device will ship with a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera.

What about the OnePlus Turbo 6X? That device will include a 6.72-inch 144Hz IPS LCD display and be fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 SUPER chip.
A 7,000mAh battery will be included, and 45W wired charging support. The device will ship with an IP64 certification for water and dust resistance.
Android 16 will come pre-installed, while a 50-megapixel main camera will sit on the back. It will be backed by a 2-megapixel snapper. On the front, you’ll get an 8-megapixel snapper.
A side-facing fingerprint scanner will be included on this model, while the device will be 8.55mm thick. The OnePlus Turbo 6X will weigh 208 grams. This phone will be even more affordable than the ‘Pro’ version, of course.
