This week, Nissan announced an enormous number of vehicles for all of its global markets. All of them are getting slightly different machinery designed for their respective customers’ tastes. For instance, the US is getting a new Leaf electric car, and eventually an Xterra-inspired EV. Europe, on the other hand, is getting a version of the Renault 5 rebadged as a Micra, and soon a new electric version of the Juke. What we’re discussing here, though, are upcoming pickup trucks. For reasons we don’t fully understand, Nissan has offered very different trucks of the same size in different markets, and it’s not changing that anytime soon.
