US vehicle safety regulators are not happy with autonomous car developers. The Administrator of the NHTSA has just published a letter calling out “a clear pattern” of interference with first responders including driving “directly into active emergency scenes.” The regulator is set to do something about it, and is threatening to boost enforcement if the safety concerns aren’t addressed.
