
- Newmark Group, Inc. has named Jack Fuchs as President of Global Asset Services, further strengthening the firm’s Investor Solutions capabilities in asset performance, operational oversight and strategic advisory. Fuchs will continue to serve as CEO of Spring11, a Newmark subsidiary that includes the Company’s offerings across Commercial Loan Servicing and Asset Management, as well as various other services for a wide range of clients including some of the world’s largest banks, debt and equity funds, REITs, life insurance companies and investors.
- Oxford Properties Group, a leading global real estate investor, developer and manager, today appointed Sara Queen as EVP and Head of US, starting July 20, 2026. Based in New York, Queen will have overall responsibility for the strategic leadership, performance and growth of this region. She most recently served as Head of Real Estate Equity at MetLife Investment Management, where she led a US$38B real estate platform with a team of more than 150 people across seven offices.
- Norm Law, LLP, an AI-native law firm built for global institutional clients, has appointed Alan Weil as partner and head of real estate. Weil most recently practiced at Sidley Austin LLP, where he was a Partner and global head of real estate. At Norm Law, Weil will lead the firm’s real estate practice and work closely with attorneys, legal engineers, and AI engineers to develop AI-native workflows for sophisticated real estate transactions and financings.
- Arqline, the unified national operating platform from Alfred, has appointed Maggie McGill as associate managing director. McGill brings more than 25 years of experience leading operations across complex, high-growth portfolios and will play a key role in advancing Arqline’s platform as it continues to scale nationwide.
- Cliffwater, a leading private markets interval fund manager, has appointed Sean Murray to its distribution team as head of retirement solutions, where he will lead the expansion of the firm’s dedicated retirement channel capabilities. Murray brings over 30 years of experience in the retirement industry. Most recently, he served as Head of Strategic Partnerships Workplace Solutions at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on retirement and workplace offerings and helped drive the inclusion of private markets in defined contribution plans. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at PIMCO, BlackRock and Envestnet.
- The Urban Land Institute New York (ULI New York) celebrated the tenth annual Awards for Excellence in Development on April 29 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom, presenting Scott Rechler with the 2026 Visionary Leadership in Land Use Award in recognition of his work as a transformative leader in New York City real estate, renowned for leveraging public-private partnerships to advance large-scale development. The evening also recognized seven category-winning projects across New York State selected from a competitive field of finalists representing transformative work across housing, mixed-use development, adaptive reuse, office, infrastructure, and community-focused initiatives.
- A&G Real Estate Partners‘ work on behalf of healthy and distressed companies recently garnered three top honors at The M&A Advisor’s 20th Annual Turnaround Awards in Palm Beach, FL. The M&A Advisor, the premier network for M&A, turnaround, and finance professionals, named A&G “Professional Service of the Year” in recognition of its impact on the U.S. real estate landscape. The firm also took home two “Deal of the Year” awards for restructuring projects with The Container Store and Rite Aid.
- ACRES Commercial Realty Corp. (ACR) and ACRES Capital Corp. (ACC) have entered into a definitive merger agreement in which ACR will acquire ACC in an all-stock transaction. In connection with the merger, ACR will acquire ACRES Capital, LLC, its external manager and an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of ACC, and transition from an externally managed REIT to an internally managed one.
